It's really been very busy for me this one whole month I only got SOME TINY LITTLE BIT of time for myself... So~ I decided to do some drawing since, well, I haven't been drawing for quite a long time too!!! OTZ

How I fulfill myself.

This is actually the topic of an oral test for my mid term......which brings me into a deep thought of myself. I consider myself as "not an expert but not a novice", someone who is familiar with technical terms and has sufficient knowledge to talk about it, but not with deep understanding of each and every aspect of it. I could talk from Fengshui, Palm reading, Horoscopes to language learning to sports to music to movie reviews to politics to food blah blah blah...

And I think this is one of my biggest fulfilments in life. In fact, I am still learning to improve myself everyday. So, how do I fulfil myself? I think it is simply a matter of ATTITUDE. A matter of MIND.



Everyday, I remind myself to BE AWARE OF WHAT OTHERS DESIRE FOR MYSELF. In other words, don't always try to please others, especially when it comes to the expense of my own freedom, my own happiness. I can’t please everyone and I certainly can’t force anyone to love ME in a specific way. Also, happiness can only be achieved through self-acceptance, so I am still learning to feel GREAT to be ME.

Another thing about attitude is that I always make myself think and feel positive especially when I face troubles, and first thing first, BE HAPPY. Although sometimes I might get grumpy and feel like cursing all the stuff but I realize that yeah, everyone needs a "channel" to release stress, but DON'T reveal too much of them, because it only makes one a person who NEVER WILLS TO TRY.

Last but not least, DO NOT hesitate to engage with new thoughts, new cultures. They actually help me to open infinite doors of perception, training myself to be someone with wider critical thinkings. Be ready to meet new cultures, open my mind... :)

Have been loving Anna Akana's videos because they are so inspiring. ❤

Headache... And AKMU's "MELTED"

"At the corner of bankrupt.

As a sum, HEADACHE.
People tend to get grumpy on hot days, huh? I think it's that when the weather gets hot, our tolerance towards annoying factors also tends to get lower too. Because this is what I am facing right now. *le sigh*

Today, I finally(?) stumbled upon one of AKMU's debut song, "MELTED". And the music video depicts a young boy trying to find his way in the cold, cold world of the adults. I realized that the Korean word for ICE (eo-reum), resembles the word for ADULT (eo-reun),  so the song is asking why adults are cold like ice.

"The subtle, but powerful imagery of ice in a cup contrasts with the warm images shown toward the conclusion of the video to better understand the implications of the story."

Yeah, it's so hard for me to portray the message of the song. Honestly, I think I can somehow relate to this music video, as in the innocent curiosity I used to have when I first landed here alone in Taiwan. You know, the moment where the frustration with the pain, the depression, the helplessness bursts out and the boy screams back at the dog, at the same time holding back his tears, really caught me. Like, actually kindness is a simple moral value, we can help others when they're in need just by sharing a little bit of the warmth we have in our hearts.

As a whole, this is a great and inspiring music video which brings us to a new thought of humanity...

All Time Favorite Makeup Products --- Taiwan.

As ya guys know... I am currently studying in Taiwan and as a STUDENT, I actually started wearing makeup when I was in the 2nd sem of freshmen and honestly, I don't really have much money to spend on expensive makeup products for myself but thanks to the grocery stores, drug stores and Daiso, I could get both branded and non-branded but really useful makeup products!! ❤

So... here are some of my ALL TIME FAVORITE MAKEUP PRODUCTS I got here in Taiwan~


1. MOMO GIRL Angled Brush 

I got this from a supermarket called "Pxmart" (Chuan Lian Supermarket 全聯福利中心). It's made in Japan and costs around NTD 50 (RM 5, $1.66) *SUPER CHEAP RIGHT!!!* Don't think that ooh it's cheap so it's low quality because the brush is really soft and it could be used as an eyeliner brush or a brow brush. It can create a strong cat eye shape, as well as create a soft and subtle natural eyeliner look. I have been using this for one year and I think it is really a good brush especially for makeup beginners as it is low priced but at the same time good quality. I even compared this brush with MAC's angled brush and I found that this brush actually does the same great job as MAC's. If you're searching for a good brush, this can be a first choice!!! ^^



2. Maybelline's Pure Concealer Mineral

I don't really use foundation or BB cream on a daily basis, but for me, a good concealer is a MUST!!! (I have pretty heavy dark circles...) In fact, until recently, I have been suffering from concealers which either didn't match my skin tone, or just concealers that creates a super cakey finish...... until I came upon this!!!! I got this from the local Watson, and have it in shade 02, which is kind of a salmon color. This concealer blends easily for complete coverage, and it stays on for the whole day. One more thing I love about it is that it actually reduce redness on my skin, and it could soothe signs of fatigueness and it hydrates my under-eye skin. Also, I like it's packaging as it is small and compact, which makes it easy to bring around. I would definitely recommend this to everybody, because if this concealer suits your skin tone, it's definitely worth the purchase.



3. Shiseido's Neuve Eyebrow Pencil (Grey)

As you can see... I used it SO MUCH that it's already THIS SHORT. XDD When I first started to redefine my eyebrows I always wanted a color like grey, which doesn't make my brows look too thick like black, nor does it make myself look too old like brown. My roomie introduced this to me during the summer break last sem when we were shopping for groceries at Pxmart. And I assure you, that this is a MUST-HAVE in your cosmetic pouch!!! Firstly, it's easy to draw, and its smooth texture is perfect for drawing natural looking eyebrows. Secondly, this brow pencil is longlasting and anti-sweat, so it is perfect for a day out, or even for parties~



4. HADA LABO's Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Essence

Honestly, I am a lazy person. And in my skin care routine (wait, do I even have one? XDD), I don't really used to having a habit to apply anything on my face because it's just too troublesome(?) but after I came to Taiwan, I realized the importance of face moisturising, because my skin would crack especially during the winter. At first I tried applying lotion but I just didn't like the greasy touch to the face. Another thing is that, HADA LABO is really well know in Taiwan that everyone knows what is it and how it works for the skin. This is also very purchasable as you can find it in EVERY SINGLE WATSON, 7-11, FAMILY MART and PXMART.  This essence is pretty sticky by itself  but it does miracles on the face when applied. It is light, and glides smoothly on the skin. This is an excellent base for makeup, and allows powder to glide on smoothly. Now, HADA LABO is a MUST process every day before I apply concealer on my face. ❤



5. KATE's Cream Cheek (PK-3) 

Not a big fan of cream blushes but I decided to indulge anyway as PK-3 is a coral shade that’s veers more orange than pink, and I am a fan of orangey shades, and these were really cheap and really cute so yeah~!!!! This cream cheek color isn't terribly pigmented but blends easily and always gives my cheeks those healthy, doll-like finish that is very, very pretty. ^^



6. DAISO's Shimmery Brown Shadow Kit

 I . AM . A . SUPER . CRAZY . FAN . OF . DAISO.  Because its products are so inexpensive and yet doesn't turn out lame quality!!!!! Nuff said~ XDDD I have been using this for one year and it doesn't give my skin ANY negative effects. So feel safe!!! YA~ You can even double it up as powder eyebrow kit ❤

Overwhelmed with HAPPINESS ❤

Recently, I have been busy with my club's upcoming activity － "Day of Dream", a performance of effort of my club (Hot Music Club, where we form our own bands and make music ^^); and also busy with my department student organisation's upcoming activity, something like a carnival of comparative education where we provide infos on studying abroad and as well sell cuisines of Japan, Germany, France and Spain. My position in both of the activities is the art publicist, so I am in charge of the posters, brochure, catalogues... Anything you can think of involving ART... ┐(´･c_･｀ ;)┌　

And yes, after five days of sleeping late and lack of sleep, I finally got my headache. SUPREME HEADACHE, to be exact... So for these couple of days I couldn't get up early as I usually would, nor can I attend my classes properly, nor can I stand staying under the hot sun outside, which literally means I couldn't really do anything including getting food outside the dormitory... *SOBS* 

But then, yesterday, I was feeling sick as usual, got up late at around noon, and my boyfriend was out for some room renting stuff... When he got back, he got me McDonalds!!!! ❤ Like, I was craving for something "high sugar" to make my head feel better(?) and he got me this!!!!! The only thing I knew was to hug him so tightly~~ XDDD

Chibi Maruko-chan hair!!!

So today, I went to the salon with my boyfriend and his classmates and well, I was actually there not for the haircut but because they are planning to have lunch after their haircut so... Yeah.

But, the main point is...
Teehee~ I decided to have my fringe cut at last~!!!! ❤

Doesn't it remind you of Chibi Maruko-chan??? ➡ My boyfriend's reaction XDDD

.... And now, I got all the time to play with my new hair~~ Teehee~~

"I'm singing in the rain~"

"The rain falls thick and fast on All Souls' Day, the men and women sadly move along the way."

This is my school, National Chi Nan University in Taiwan. A beautiful campus in the very centre of Taiwan. The grand meadow of my school is the most enchanted view, and what attracts children the most is pulling the hand-made kite to chase the wind and feel the breeze and moving.
Even in this rainy day.... :)
This weather kinda also reminds me of those days when I first came to Taiwan for foundation course in February 2013, when this song "Blue" by BIGBANG was released.



It was also a rainy month, and as I sit by the windows, this song keep me accompany when I study so hard for those upcoming tests and exams.❤️
